From a young age, Liisa’s life was planned for a version of success defined by society. With a sharp mind and ambitious drive, she was on a clear track for a self-made life of career achievements, financial security, and eventually, a family.

She excelled in her higher education, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration and a Master’s in Public Policy and Management from prestigious European universities. Fluent in Estonian, English, German, and Russian, she secured an upper-level management position at the international conglomerate Johnson & Johnson and was poised to climb the corporate ladder.

However, the universe had a different plan. In 2009, she attended her first course with Somananda, an experience that would pivot her destiny. The course ignited a profound realization and a fiery spiritual yearning that she could not ignore.

With newfound clarity, Liisa made a resolute decision — she abandoned her corporate ambitions and dedicated herself completely to her spiritual evolution and the development of the spiritual school.

Over the next several years, she immersed herself in her studies in an uncompromising way. Her dedication was recognized in 2012 when Somananda initiated her as a Yoga, Tantra, and meditation teacher. Since then, she has passionately shared this transformative knowledge with international audiences.

Beyond her role as an advanced teacher, Liisa has been the general manager of the Somananda Tantra School since its inception in 2009. She was instrumental in growing the school from a local, Estonian-based operation into a global spiritual university.

Her leadership helped expand its reach and bring the precious teachings of Tantra and Yoga to genuine seekers around the globe in a clear and accessible way. To this day, alongside her teaching duties, Liisa leads all administrative tasks with an international team of project managers and teachers.

Liisa is also a prominent voice in the global spiritual community. She has been a featured speaker at various European Yoga and Tantra festivals and for 3 years led the team organizing one of the largest Tantra festivals in the world.

Her expertise has been showcased on Estonian National TV, in radio interviews, and through numerous articles published in prominent newspapers and magazines. Together with Somananda, she co-created the school’s YouTube channel, which now has millions of views and continues to answer the questions of those exploring the tantric path.
