  Day 1: Arrival and introduction

  • The schedule for Day 1 (27 April 2023) is the following:

  19:00 Group welcome dinner in Scottsdale, AZ
  22:00 Conclusion

  As a group we will gather together for a delicious and healthy meal at a cozy restaurant in Scottsdale. This is a perfect opportunity to get to know each other before the teaching days begin. 

  Following the dinner, you will be briefed about the course schedule and curriculum and given instructions on how to best prepare for the first teaching day. 

  We ask that you plan your travels accordingly so that you can attend the welcome dinner. This is an important element of cultivating the group energy. Also, please do arrive to the restaurant on time. 

  Location of the restaurant will be shared with registered participants a few days prior to the course start date.

  Days 2-10: Studies

  • Days 2 – 10 (28 – 6 May 2023): Teachings and practice of Tantra Massage for approximately eight hours daily. In terms of rhythm, more intense sessions follow more relaxed sessions, such that participants do not need to sustain their energy maximally and have intervals to revitalise.

  10:00 Morning teaching and practice session
  13:30 Lunch break (approximate time)
  15:00 Afternoon teaching and practice session
  20:00 Conclusion of the day / Occasional satsang

  Day 11: Conclusion and departure

  The last day we will begin later than normal. There will be no morning Yoga practice or practice massage sessions. Instead, we will perform a group tantric ritual and hold a graduation ceremony.

  • The schedule for Day 11 (7 May 2023) is the following:

  09:00 Preparation for the group ritual
  10:00 Tantric ritual of transfiguration
  12:00 Certification ceremony
  14:00 Conclusion

  Please do not plan your departure from Scottsdale earlier than 17:00 on 7 May. This will give you an opportunity to participate in a powerful tantric ritual, conclude the course harmoniously, take photos and say proper goodbyes to your friends.

  Required level of health

  The massage practice sessions in this training are done from the floor on padded massage spaces created from the supplies you will be required to bring with you to the course (i.e. yoga mat and blankets).

  It is necessary that you have a good level of physical fitness in order to join this training and be able to participate fully. You should be free from any severe or debilitating injuries that prevent you from kneeling on the floor and massaging your partner for an extended period of time.

  Massage sessions will be 1-3 hours in length and the necessary stamina and mobility to sustain this level of physical activity is necessary in order to join. Please keep this in mind before applying.

Travel considerations

  Helpful travel related info

  This training is non-residential and participants are responsible for their accommodations and meals. Below are some general guidelines and helpful travel related information.

  • While we are not releasing the exact location of the venue at this point in time, you can search for accommodations near to this restaurant.
  • There are a variety of accommodation options near to the venue starting at about $90 per night and going up from there. Cheaper options exist the farther you go out.
  • Generally speaking a rental car is not necessary. If you book your accommodations relatively close to the venue, you can walk to the venue every day or take a short Uber ride.
  • There are restaurants in Old Town Scottsdale fitting all palates and budgets. Food and grocery delivery are also widely available.
  • Once the course is confirmed, all registered participants will have access to a private chat group to connect and communicate with your peers. You can make joint travel arrangements, such as sharing an Airbnb, for example.

  Non-residential format

  This Tantra Massage Therapist Training is offered in a non-residential format. You are responsible for your own meals and accommodations.

  Scottsdale offers many accommodations options fitting for all budgets, from hostels to luxurious apartments, all in the heart of the city. Accommodations within walking distance to the venue are also available in abundance.

  IMPORTANT!! Do not make any travel arrangements until you have received a course confirmation email from our administration team. This email will clearly state you can now make your travel arrangements.

  Once the course is confirmed a dedicated Telegram group will be created for all participants. Here you can communicate with your fellow classmates, get to know each other and make joint travel or accommodation plans (such as sharing an Airbnb, for example).

  Entry into the USA

  (Updated on October 20, 2022)

  As of June 12, 2022, air passengers no longer need to get tested and show a negative COVID-19 test result or show documentation of recovery from COVID-19 prior to boarding a flight to the United States regardless of vaccination status or citizenship.  Of note, CDC’s Order requiring proof of vaccination for non-citizen nonimmigrants to travel to the United States is still in effect, however. For the most recent Covid conditions and/or restrictions, please refer to this official government website. 

  A foreign national traveling (non-citizen nonimmigrants) to the United States for tourism needs a visitor visa (B-2) unless qualifying for entry under the Visa Waiver Program. You can refer to this official government website for instructions on how to apply for a B-2 visa. Do ensure that you apply far enough in advance as visa applications can take 4-6 weeks for processing time in some countries. 

  We also recommend that you double check if any Covid travel restrictions are currently in place for reentry into your home country or the next country you will travel to after the course is completed, as well as any transit countries (i.e. layovers).
